BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team takes part in this weekend's 62nd Ralph O'Connor Rice Invitational, playing in Houston on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Owls will battle No. 26 Texas Tech first, and homestanding Rice on the showcase's final day. Both matches will begin at 1 p.m. Eastern at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.
Owls' Weekend in Review
FAU (5-6) won one of three home matches this past weekend, completing the season sweep of South Alabama, and falling to Liberty and UCF. Three Owls tie for the team lead with six singles wins apiece:

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Texas Tech (8-2) ranks No. 26 in the latest Oracle/ITA men's rankings, up five spots from last week, and in the midst of having won their last six matches. The Red Raiders have three ranked singles players in No. 37 Parker Wynn, No. 93 Ilgiz Valiev and No. 115 Reed Collier.
Rice (7-6) has won five of their last six outings, all on their home courts. Mohamed Abdel-Aziz has the team's most wins in total, six, while Sumit Sarkar has four victories at No. 1.

What's Next
The Owls have added a makeup match next, on the road in Tallahassee on April 2, at Florida State. They'll also travel to play Miami (April 3) and USF (April 9) before the regular season finale at home, hosting Temple, on April 18.
