BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team wraps the out-of-conference portion of its 2021-22 schedule on Tuesday night, heading out on the road to take on High Point.

Owls' Weekend in Review
Behind four double-figure scorers, the Owls (7-5) rebounded Friday night with a comfortable win over Florida Tech, 78-55. The squad won seven of its 10 non-conference home matchups over these last two months. Additionally, in 11 of 12 games, they've outrebounded their opposition, with a Conference USA-leading rebounding margin of +6.7 (which also ranks them 48th in the nation). Other high-water national team marks are No. 33 in 3-pointers made, No. 40 in steals and No. 55 in assists.

High Point (5-6) comes in off two straight tough losses, 67-66 to South Carolina State and 71-69 against UNCW. John-Michael Wright leads the team at 22.2 points a game, first in the Big South and the sixth-highest scoring average in the country. Defensively, the team records 6.3 blocks per game, 10th in DI, paced by Zach Austin's 3.4 per night (ninth among individuals). HPU is led by legendary head coach Tubby Smith, in his fourth season back at his alma mater.
