FAU Alum Tre Carroll Receives Summer League Invite

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's basketball alum Tre Carroll has accepted an invite to participate on the Washington Wizards' NBA Summer League team.
The Port Charlotte, Fla. native Carroll was a member of Florida Atlantic's conference championship and Final Four team in 2023 and made an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024, playing in 42 games over those two seasons.
Carroll ('21-'25) scored 573 points and hauled in 252 boards in 76 games during his time with Florida Atlantic. His breakout 2024-25 campaign with the Owls saw him average 12.2 points per game and 5.2 rebounds. He was named the American Conference's Most Improved Player and earned a spot on the all-conference second team, in addition to receiving the league's inaugural Amir Abdur-Rahim Sportsmanship Award.
Following his graduation from FAU in the spring of 2025, Carroll used his final season of eligibility at Xavier, where he put forth 17.8 points per game on the way to a Big East All-Conference First Team nod.
The 2026 NBA Summer League will take place in Las Vegas from July 9 to 19. Five players from the Owls' 2023-24 tournament teams will be on a roster, with Carroll joined by Alijah Martin (Toronto Raptors), Vladislav Goldin (Miami Heat), Johnell Davis (Orlando Magic), and Nick Boyd (Golden State Warriors). In addition, his 2024-25 FAU teammate Baba Miller was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the '26 NBA Draft with the No. 36 pick.
