BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's basketball alumni Nick Boyd has signed professionally with the Golden State Warriors following the conclusion of the 2026 NBA Draft.
Boyd joins the Warriors on an Exhibit 10 deal.
Boyd was a key member of Florida Atlantic's conference championship and Final Four team in 2023 and made the NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024, the best two-year run in program history.
Starting 51 games in 88 appearances, Boyd scored 708 points and collected 280 rebounds while dishing out 182 assists. He converted 37.8% of his three-point attempts, ranking sixth all-time for Florida Atlantic.
In the 2022-23 campaign, Boyd made 37 starts as the Owls won 35 games, most in the nation. Against Memphis in the 2023 Round of 64, Boyd converted the game-winning layup to give Florida Atlantic its first NCAA Tournament victory in program history and keeping the run alive all the way to the Final Four.
After four seasons with the Owls and graduating in 2024, Boyd continued his collegiate journey at San Diego State (2024-25) and Wisconsin ('25-'26). He averaged 13.4 points per game with the Aztecs and then 20.7 points per game for the Badgers, third in the Big Ten conference. Boyd earned second team All-Big Ten honors and later was a Big Ten All-Tournament Team selection.
Boyd now joins his fellow Final Four teammates Alijah Martin (Toronto Raptors), Vlad Goldin (Miami Heat), and Johnell Davis (Osceola Magic, Orlando Magic's G-League Affiliate) in FAU graduates who have continued their careers professionally since 2025. Following Martin in '25, Baba Miller became the second former Owl to be drafted into the NBA, selected in the second round by the Los Angeles Clippers with the No. 36 overall pick.
