Women's Golf Finishes Day One of Florida Gators Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team is in 16th place through two rounds of the Florida Gators Invitational. The team has one more round to raise its standing.
Freshman Justine Fournand was FAU's top performer, tying for 55th with a 16-over-par 156. Bouncing back from an 81 in the first round, she improved to a 75 in the second.Kim Egozi (17-over-par 157) finished one stroke behind Fournand for the round and is tied for 59th. Like Fournand, Egozi improved from Round 1 (81) to Round 2 (76). Right behind Egozi was Rosa Barnak, whose 18-over-par 158 has her tied for 61st.
FAU will play the final round of the tournament 9 a.m. Sunday at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville.
