BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team looks to take momentum earned from last weekend's home win into this weekend's tripleheader: three matches at two venues in back-to-back days. The Owls will host South Alabama (10 a.m.) and DePaul (3 p.m.) on Saturday in home matches at the FAU Tennis Complex; they then travel south to face Miami in Coral Gables on Sunday at noon.
Saturday's first match is a Green Out Game, where the Owls are partnering up with Conference USA to continue the conversation for Mental Health Awareness:

Owls' Week in Review
The Owls (3-5) picked up a big win over cross-state rival (and 2019 NCAA Tournament team) Florida Gulf Coast last Friday, 5-2. FAU notched the doubles point, and singles wins were turned in, in order, by Filip Krolo, Maxime Lapraille, Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Gerard Escandell.
Owls' Week in Preview
The Owls met all three of these teams last year, and all three will actually have another result added to their current record before meeting FAU on the respective days ahead.
South Alabama (2-3) has won two in a row, and will play at Miami Friday. The wins came over Lamar and Nicholls State after three losses to start the year. FAU and USA met last year on Feb. 24 in Mobile, a 4-2 Jaguars' win. Ironically, picking up a point for the home team that day was former Jaguar, now current Owl Maxime Lapraille, a straight-set win on the No. 5 court.
DePaul (2-3) will also have a match on Friday, against FGCU, before coming east to Boca Raton. The Blue Devils have bookended their two wins, coming in the season opener over UIC and in their last match against Toledo, around three losses. FAU faced this squad on Feb. 16 of last season on the Owls' home court, picking up a 4-1 victory.
Miami (4-2 plus the pending result against USA) started off this season 3-0, with the two losses each coming against ranked squads, No. 13 California and No. 23 Mississippi State. In Coral Gables last Jan. 21, the Hurricanes came away with a 6-1 victory against FAU.
