BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team evened up its season mark at 5-5 with a home doubleheader sweep of South Alabama (4-3) and DePaul (4-0) on Saturday at the FAU Tennis Complex.

- It came down to former Jaguar Lapraille at No. 2, and he came through with a three-set win (7-5, 3-6, 6-4)
Notables vs. DePaul:
- For the second straight match, it took all three doubles results to determine the first point, but a game FAU No. 1 duo held off their DePaul (2-5) opponents
- This time it was the combination of Legall and Fernandez Horta that edged out their opposition, 7-5
- The No. 2 pair of Krolo and Thomas Guy had had little issue in their 6-2 win
- One right after the other, Gerard Escandell and Lapraille posted singles victories
- Escandell took the No. 6 match, 6-2, 7-5, while Lapraille at No. 2 posted his third win of the day, 6-3, 6-4
- Coming up with the second winning point of the day was No. 4 Filip Krolo, 7-6 (7-0), 6-2

Head Coach
Ricardo Gonzalez:
"I'm extremely proud of the effort this team put in today. We are getting better every day and that's what it's all about. Today we competed with a lot of heart and passion. We were tough through adversity and showed grit within ourselves to win two big matches. Tomorrow is another tough challenge against Miami so we need to make sure we recover properly and be 100% ready."
