BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (2-2-0, 0-1-0) hits the road for the first time this season, taking on Conference USA foe No. 21 Kentucky (2-1-2, 0-0-1) on Saturday. First touch is set for 7:30 p.m. in Lexington.

About The Owls

The Owls have had three goal scorers so far this season with Ivan Mykhailenko leading the way with two and Tom Abrahamsson and Blake Dean with one each. Andres Macias leads on the assist front with two on the season. Mykhailenko, David Schwartzman and Alex Alexis each have an assist as well.
 Hagay Jalon and Daniel have split time in-goal for the Owls this season. Jalon has played in three matches and has a 2.27 goals against average with 10 saves. Ragoo has played in two matches, posting a 2.95 goals against average with 11 saves.

The Owls' 2-1-0 record through the first three matches, was the best start of the season since the 2013 season. FAU started out the 2019 season with a win against then-No. 17 James Madison to start 1-0 for the first time since the 2011 season. The 1-0 victory was also the first shutout in a season opener since the 2002 season.

The Wildcats have wins against Albany and Tulsa this season, while recording ties against then-No. 11 Xavier and No. 12 Charlotte.

Three players have scored two goals for Kentucky this season, Daniel Evans, Aime Mabika and Jason Reyes. Evans and Kalil El Medkhar lead the team with two assists each.

Goalkeeper Enrique Facusse has played all five games in-goal for the Wildcats. He has a 1.47 goals against average.

Saturday's match will be the Owls' second this season against a ranked opponent. Kentucky checks in at No. 21 in the polls and James Madison was ranked No. 17 when FAU defeated them.
