BOCA RATON, Fla, – The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team (5-22, 2-12 C-USA) will close out the regular season on Thursday night against Old Dominion (19-9, 9-6 C-USA).

ABOUT THE OWLS

Thursday's game will serve as Senior Night for four Owls who will be making their departure from FAU. Danneal Ford, Alexis Cowan, Jamaria Williams and Ra'Kyra Gabriel will all be honored prior to the start of the game in a ceremony celebrating all four's career with the Owls
It will also serve as the regular season finale for all Conference USA schools and the Championship bracket will be released following shortly after the conclusion of the last game
Through 28 games, Juliette Gauthier is leading the Owls in scoring with 11.2 points per game. Myka Johnson Matthews is close behind, averaging 9.2 points. Abby Voss leads on the rebounding front, pulling down 5.8 boards per game. Glenisha Harkless has 53 assists on the season to lead the team

LAST TIME OUT

The Owls ended a four-game road swing at Middle Tennessee last Saturday. The Owls fell short in the contest, 74-48
Gauthier led the Owls with 21 points and nine rebounds. Williams also had 12 points, four rebounds and two steals

SCOUTING OLD DOMINION

The Monarchs are winners of their last two games, topping Marshall and Longwood
after being swept by Charlotte
Old Dominion is led by three double-digit scorers. Victoria Morris is averaging 13.0 points per game, Ajah Wayne is putting up 11.6 and Taylor Edwards is scoring 10.9
Wayne leads the charge on the glass, pulling down 7.9 boards per game

SERIES HISTORY

Thursday will be the seventh meeting between FAU and Old Dominion all-time. The Monarchs hold a 6-0 record against the Owls overall, but have only played in Boca Raton twice. The last time FAU played ODU at home was during the 2016-17 season after playing in Norfolk last season and earlier this season
In the first matchup between the two teams this season in Norfolk, the Monarchs earned a 87- 53 win. Johnson Matthews led the Owls with 10 points
