BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team took down FGCU 5-2 in the first home match of 2018 for the Owls on Saturday.

Newcomer Thomas Bugeaud took down Mateo Ruiz 6-4, 6-2 in No. 5 singles for his fifth victory of the season
Freshman Ignacio Garcia sealed the victory for FAU with a 4-6, 6-4, ret. win over Oliver Landert in the No. 3 slot
Jason Legall fell 6-1, 1-6, 6-4 to Felipe Ramirez in the top position
Gabriel Sidney improved to five wins on the year, closing out the match with his 7-6, 7-6 win over Felipe Escobar at No. 4 singles
