Women's Basketball Hosts Lynn For Exhibition Game

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team will host Lynn University on Thursday night at FAU Arena for a preseason tilt. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free.
It will be the only public tune-up for the Owls before the 2018-19 season officially gets underway against Hampton next Wednesday at 11 a.m. FAU will be hosting AD Henderson University School students for the game, expecting over 800 students to be in attendance.
The Owls will have nine new faces when they hit the court on Thursday with eight freshmen and a transfer. They'll be joining the five returners from last season.
Last season, FAU squared off with Lynn in an exhibition game and came away with a 79-67 win. Danneal Ford had 16 points, five rebounds and three assists in that game. Ra'Kyra Gabriel added eight points and six rebounds.
