ORLANDO, FL - Florida Atlantic University's women's golf finished in second-place on Monday after two-rounds of play at the Sunshine Spring Classic. Marilyne Cadieux was the team's top finisher carding rounds of 78 (+6) and 76 (+4) to tie for second.
Florida Atlantic finished round-one in second place scoring 327 (+39), and held on to second carding the 321 for a total 648 (+72) after the second round. Emily Peters recorded a final score of 163 (+19) and Nicole Marino scored 165 (+21) finishing tied for 12th and fifteenth-place, respectively.
Rene Kelly finished in 16th with rounds of 85 and 81. Madden Leen rounded out FAU's participants with a total score of 180, tying for 23rd-place.
Florida Atlantic took second to host school Detroit Mercy who took the team and individual first-place finish. The women's golf team will travel to Ocala, Florida on Sunday, March 17 for MSU's three-day Spring Ocala Invitational.
