Sophomore (2010-11): Had her first victory of the year in the last regular season contest against Daytona Beach State College, winning the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.47) ... also in that meet, finished third in the 500-yard freestyle ... in all, had six top-5 finishes in the 200-yard freestyle ... set three season-best times in the Georgia Tech Invitational.
High School: Earned top-10 finishes at state finals as a freshman through senior years ... selected to the all-area team as a sophomore, junior and senior ... district and regional champion.
Personal: Exercise science major ... born in Iron Mountain, Mich. ... daughter of David and Kari Nowak.
