BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's swimming & diving, and the women's diving team, are set for the program's first home meet of the season which will be held Saturday at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex, 12441 Royal Palm Blvd, Coral Springs, FL 33065.
The Owls will face off against the Florida Gators men's swimming and diving as well as their women's diving team, beginning at 10 a.m. All live results will be available on Meet Mobile (App).
The Owls have not faced off against the Gators since the 2022-23 season, when FAU made the trip north to Gainesville.
LAST TIME OUT
FAU opened its 2026-27 season in a dual meet against the Indian River Pioneers. The women's team came away victorious, outscoring Indian River 217-83, with junior
Talitha McEwan leading the way with two individual event victories. On the men's side, multiple Owls had impressive days with
Niccolo Scornaienghi winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Freshman
Samuel Campbell started off his collegiate career with two first place finishes, taking the win in the 100 and 200 back.
SUMMER ACCOLADES
Over the summer, Associate Head Coach Ryan Bubb and incoming junior
Leyton Roe represented Team USA at the 2026 FISU America Games in Lima, Peru, as an assistant coach and an athlete.
TEAM CAPTAINS
The Owls have five captains this season, all first timers, with graduate student
Amelia Robertson being the longest-tenured Owl. She is joined by senior
Nula Gow and junior diver
Augusta Ness. On the men's team side, juniors
Jayden Repak and
Leyton Roe round out the last of the five first-time captains for the '26-'27 Owls.
