Upcoming Event: Swimming & Diving versus Indian River on September 19, 2025 at 2:15 p.m.

John Walsh joined the Florida Atlantic University Swimming and Diving staff as a graduate manager in the 2014-15 season. A former Owl swimmer, Walsh is currently enrolled at FAU and pursuing a bachelor's degree in ocean engineering.
While at FAU, Walsh swam for four years and served as a team captain for his final two years. He helped break four school relay records, three of which are still current. He was awarded "most improved" and "hardest worker" twice during his time on the swim team in addition to receiving the spirit award from the athletic department in his senior year.
Walsh is in his final year of the ocean engineering degree program at FAU's Dania Beach campus and expects to graduate in the spring of 2015. He was on the president's and dean's list multiple times and was awarded the Sophomore Ocean Engineering scholarship for high academic performance.
Walsh was born in Boca Raton, and has lived in Pompano Beach for most of his life. Before coming to FAU, he attended Pompano Beach High School where he also swam for three years.
