Freshman (2010-11): Picked up her first individual win, in the 200-yard backstroke against Daytona Beach State College (2:11.40) ... was also part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team in that meet ... won one other relay race, the 400-yard medley, against Nova Southeastern ... in that event, picked up two third-place finishes, in the 200-yard backstroke (2:13.17) and 200-yard individual medley (2:15.79, a season low) ... in all, had four top-3 finishes in both the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes.
High School: Graduated with honors from the Mount Carmel Academy.
Personal: Nursing major ... daughter of Joel and Mimi Gonzalez ... aspires to be a nurse anesthetist.
