BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished up their second home meet of the season, sweeping the Keiser Seahawks on Saturday morning. This marks the Owls second home sweep of the young season and builds upon their fourth straight victory at home dating back to last season.
Saturday's competition saw the Owls achieve 23 first-place victories to go along with the team win.

QUICK HITS
Women
- The Owls got the meet started winning the 200 medley relay (1:43.10).
- Alex Stevens took home the win in the 1000 free in a time of 10:15.71.
- Talitha McEwan picked up three wins on the day with the 200 free (1:50.35), 500 free (4:56.78), and was a part of the winning 400 free relay
- A 1-2-3-4 finish for the Owls in the 100 breast included a new personal best and win for Bilú Bianchi (1:01.52).
- Maja Piotrowicz won the 50 free (23.59) with the Owls also taking 2-3-4-5.
- In the 200 back, Megan Drover-Smith took home a victory, swimming to a time of 2:00.05.
- The 200 breast had FAU taking the top three spots led by Nula Gow (2:14.88).
- It was a fast 200 IM for the Owls, taking the top seven spots, with Presley Staretz winning in a time of 2:06.16.
- Senior Grace Powell won the 3mtr diving, totaling a score of 258.08
- FAU closed out the day victorious in the 400 free relay (3:25.78).
Men
- Freshman Brody Singley got FAU its first win of the day in the 1000 free (9:36.68)
- Daniel Laureyssens continues his impressive season, earning wins in the 200 free (1:35.83) and 100 free (43.81).
- The 50 free saw Leyton Roe on top once again, this time swimming a time of 20.28.
- James Shevchenko took home an event victory in the 200 back (1:49.70).
- In the 500 free, the Owls went 1-2-3-4 with Rush Clark winning (4:32.45).
- John Reese Taylor picked up a win in the 200 IM, swimming to a winning time of 1:52.29.
- The Owls won both diving events with Rocco Simonelli winning the 3mtr (321.30) and Trevor Kuhn taking home first in the 1mtr (296.10).
- Similar to the women, the Owls closed the day winning the 400 free relay (3:00.09).
ON DECK
The Owls will have a little bit over a month off before gearing up for the Patriot Midseason Invitational hosted by George Mason. The three-day meet begins on Thursday, Nov. 20 with competition wrapping up on Saturday, Nov. 22. FAU will be looking for a third consecutive team sweep of the meet.
