- Set a lifetime best in the 1000 free (9:53.46) and took second against Florida Tech
- Had a career high in the 400 IM (4:05.47) and took 15th at the Georgia Tech Invitational while also setting a personal best in the 200 breast (2:08.78)
- Claimed third in the 1000 free (10:06.63) and 400 IM (4:19.30) against Marywood and Old Dominion
- Had a career best in the 100 breast (58.45) and 1650 free (16:16.24) at the C-USA Championship exhibition meet
- Attended Union High School and competed under head coach David Lynn
- Four-time Frontier Conference Champion
- 2013 100 breaststroke state champion
- 2013 Scholastic All-American
- State runner-up in 2013 for the 500 freestyle and in 2014 for the 100 breaststroke
- Holds school record in the 100 yard and 100 meter breaststroke
- Qualified for state competition all four years for the 100 breaststroke, 200 IM, and 500 freestyle
- Graduating in the top 10 percent of his class
- Majoring in neuroscience and behavior
