Spring 2022
- Teamed with Hunter Robbins to open his 2022 dual match doubles season with a win on court two over Illinois State at the Army Arthur Ashe Invite and then used three sets to secure a court one win 6-3, 4-6, 14-12
- Versus host Army, he made quick work of his court one doubles match 6-0 and then defeated his court two singles opponent 6-2, 6-2
- Worked on doubles court two to capture a 7-5 win before falling on court one to DePaul 6-4, 6-1
- Worked with Robbins to capture their doubles match versus FGCU, but fell on court one 6-1, 7-5 in singles play
- He and Robbins teamed together to put up the fight on court one at USF, but ultimately fell 7-5 and he then had a hard-pressed match on court two where he fell 6-3, 7-5, 4-6
- Picked up wins in both Stetson matches to help improve FAU's record to 6-0
- Versus Mercer, he and Robbins captured court one 6-4 and he then went on to win court one singles 10-7 in the two-set tiebreaker
- Captured court one doubles versus Georgia State and won court two singles 6-2, 6-3
- Teamed with Robbins to defeat Miami 6-4 and then fell 7-5, 6-3 on singles court one
- Picked up a doubles win over Santa Clara, in the first match of the California trip, but fell on doubles on court two
- Dropped his doubles match versus host Santa Barbara, but won his singles match 6-1, 6-2
- He and doubles partner Robbins, earned a No. 41 national rank, but fell to No. 66 San Diego and he fell on court two of the same match
- Recovered from an injury, but fell to UCF in straight-sets
- In the first northern swing, he and Robbins fell in doubles action at UNC-Wilmington, but he on won his court one singles match 6-2, 6-2
- Ranked No. 72 as a team, he and Robbins won their ODU match with a 6-2 score and he won his singles match after his opponent was forced to retire, giving FAU the match
- Ranked No. 79 he and Robbins fell to Liberty and he then fell on singles court one
- Returned home to team with Robbins for a 6-2 court one doubles win over Southern Miss and then to take court one singles in straight sets
- In the first of three matches on the Louisiana/Alabama road swing, he and Robbins defeated Louisiana on court two and he then fell on singles court one
- Picked up a straight-set singles win on court two, which followed an unfinished doubles match versus Tulane
- Won a close one at South Alabama alongside Robbins and then won his court one singles match 6-4, 6-2
- Crushed Southern Miss 6-1 on Conference USA Championship court one and then took a two-match on singles court two to advance
- Fell in the second round of the C-USA Championship in both doubles and singles
- The duo of Sarrio/Robbins were 17-6 on the season, including 13-6 in dual-match doubles play
- They split time between courts one (8-4) and two (5-2) and were hampered late in the season, due to an injury limiting opportunities
- Were 1-2 versus ranked doubles duos, all on the road, with the win being versus ODU, in regular season play
- Split matches at the C-USA Championships downing USM 6-1 and falling to Charlotte 6-3
- Saw 17-of-19 matches factor into the doubles point, virtually setting the tone for the match
- He and Robbins earned Conference C-USA Second Team honors

- His second as a Mustang, earned seven singles victories, two at No. 1 and five at No. 2
- He went an unblemished 6-0 in doubles play as well
- In tournament play the previous fall, he earned six singles wins, which placed him at No. 37 in Oracle/ITA's final fall preseason rankings
- During his All-Conference campaign, he solely played in SMU's top spot, with a 12-10 dual match singles record and 23 wins overall that season
- He had three wins over ranked opponents, including against the No. 4 player in the country
- Additionally, with his primary doubles partner, he went 9-5 (and held a 12-10 overall record in doubles in the spring)
- Played his first two years at Auburn, totaling 18 spring singles victories (12 as a sophomore, six as a freshman), and 17 more doubles wins (12 and five, respectively
- Has been honored as part of the ITA All-American Academic Honor Roll, as an ITA Scholar Athlete and as a member of the All-SEC Academic Honor Roll
"Carles is one of the best competitors I have ever seen. His work ethic, determination, and passion for the game is incredible. This is why he is currently one of the best college players out there. He still has many goals to achieve and I am sure the best is yet to come.

High School/International
- Prior to coming stateside for college, he was ranked No. 1 nationally in Spain among U18 players, and as high as 73rd overall
- Was runner-up at the Spanish Championships in singles, and champion in doubles, and was a semifinalist at the European Summer Cup in doubles as well
