St. Felix returned to the Owls after gaining valuable experience at two in-state schools. The Miami native brings to FAU experience at three Florida schools in total, and his return to FAU brings him back to South Florida, allowing to continue his work under the direction of Willie Taggart (who he also worked with at Florida State).
At Florida State
In 2019, St. Felix joined the staff at Florida State where he assisted the defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator. St. Felix assisted in game planning, helped oversee opponents' passing game (including route concepts) and was responsible for scouting reports. He also was responsible for overseeing the opponents' passing game on gamedays with current FAU secondary coach Stanford Samuels. The position allowed for St. Felix to continue his work with recruit management as well, assisting with prospect evaluation and campus visits.
At Florida
St. Felix joined the Florida staff in 2017, where he continued his career with similar responsibilities as he had as the Owls' graduate assistant. He worked with the assistant coaches on the defensive side of the ball as well as with special teams. St. Felix also helped to oversee the opponents' pass game/route concepts on gameday and assisted with game planning. He was responsible for scouting reports, as well as coordinating offensive/special teams scout meetings and on-field practice.
At Florida Atlantic
St. Felix joined the Owls as a quality control coach on the defensive side of the ball in 2015 under the direction of then-head coach Charlie Partridge, before being elevated to a graduate assistant in 2016. He also assisted with opponents' gameday pass game/route concepts.
