Meet Jordan Merrell
- Drew his first career start as an Owl and made good with a six yard reception versus Charlotte
- Led the Owls with five receptions for a total of 48 yards at No. 22/25 Marshall
- Contributed to the Owls' 24-3 win over UTSA
- Had a 35 yard reception versus WKU
- Recorded a team leading three receptions for 28 yards in Shula Bowl XIX at FIU and led the Owls to a 38-19 win
- Helped FAU to a 24-2 win over UMass
- Had a big night at Georgia Southern with two huge catches, including on for a team long 36 yards and a total of 67 yards receiving and added one rushing attempt for minus two yards
- Tallied two receptions for a total of eight yards and was most productive in the Owls' run game with two carries for 38 yards at Southern Miss, including a 36 yarder
