2003: Originally planned to begin his collegiate career in January, but due to injuries he reported to per-season...gained valuable practice time and used the 2003 season as red-shirt season...fall and spring honor roll list...Dean's list member.
High School: Played for Mike Dowling at Cardinal Mooney High School...tallied 2,272 yards passing including 26 passing TDs and six rushing TDs...named 2A All-Area Quarterback, first team All-State and was the athlete of the week three times as a senior...guided Mooney, which captured the District 8 Championship.
Chose FAU: Hansen chose FAU because of its coaching staff, led by Howard Schnellenberger and the opportunity to work with Larry Seiple, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, and the opportunity to stay close to home...he passed up scholarship offers to Alabama-Birmingham, Washington State, Utah State and Wyoming.
