At FAU
Keynodo Hudson joined the staff in January of 2017 with his primary focus geared towards the corners, a successful unit that included two former Owls playing in the NFL. By season’s end his unit was a part of a defense that had improved by 66 spots from the previous year to rank No. 2 nationally in interceptions. The unit did so despite losing Raekwon Williams, the team’s most experienced corner, by midseason due to injury. Shelton Lewis, a First Team All-Conference USA selection, picked up the slack while a rotation on the other side proved just as strong. The duo of Lewis and Chris Tooley led the corners with four interceptions each, and Lewis led the team with eight pass breakups. The Owls as a defense set a new team record with 20 INTs on the year.

At USC
Hudson comes to FAU from USC where he served as a defensive administration assistant and helped to craft several top-10 recruiting classes while he served in an off-field role for the Trojans. He was an important cog in USC’s recruiting machine both identifying talent and dealing with prospects on campus. Hudson helped recruit Leonard Williams, Leon McQuay, Lamont Simmons and Quinton Powell to USC.
He concentrated his recruiting efforts in Florida as a Sunshine State native, where he helped to sign defensive backs Jamel Cook (Miami/Central) and three-star athlete Keyshawn Young (Miami/Senior).
At Mainland High School (Daytona Beach, Fla)
Hudson previously coached at Mainland High School in Daytona, Florida. He is a graduate of Hillsborough High School in Tampa.
At University of Charleston
Began his coach career at the University of Charleston where he worked with the secondary.
Collegiate Playing Career
Began his collegiate career at Reedley College where he was a member of the team from 1997-00. He then transferred to West Virginia Tech where he played his final season and graduated in 2004 with a degree in general education.
High School
Played his prep career at Tampa’s Hillsborough High School where as a senior the Terriers finished second in states.
