Initial Football Game Times and Networks Announced

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football has announced game times and networks for seven 2026 season matchups.
The '26 campaign, second under Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley, begins on Saturday, Sept. 5 with the Owls' fifth trek to the Swamp for a meeting against Florida. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. with the game airing on SEC Network.
For its first 2026 home game at Flagler Credit Union Stadium, Florida Atlantic will host Navy, who last visited Paradise in 2017, on Sept 12. The game will commence at 7:30 p.m., airing on either ESPNU or ESPN+
The following week on Sept. 19, Boca Raton will be the spot for the 23rd annual Shula Bowl against FIU, a rivalry which the Owls have a 17-5 advantage. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
Closing out non-conference play at home, FAU hosts Texas Southern for the first time in program history on Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
On Saturday, Oct. 17, the Owls will make their first visit to West Point, taking on American Conference foe Army in a noon game on CBS Sports Network.
As part of back-to-back Thursday night games, Florida Atlantic will be on the road at North Texas on Oct. 29, set for 7:30 p.m. ET on either ESPN or ESPN2, followed by Nov. 5 at home versus UTSA, slated for the 8 p.m. slot on the same potential networks.
