DENTON, Texas – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team is traveling to Denton to compete in the 2026 American Outdoor Championships on Thursday, May 14 through Saturday, May 16 at the Norma Knobel Hunt Stadium, aired on ESPN+.
The Owls closed out the regular season at the East Coast Relays, hosted by UNF with junior
Teegan Anderson breaking the program record in the 1500-meter which tied her for the fastest time in the American. With the performance, Anderson earned the first American Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for the Owls.
Florida Atlantic will participate in a total of 11 events this meet, starting on Thursday, May 14. The first event for FAU will be the 1500-meter, followed by the 200-meter, 400-meter hurdles, and the 10,000-meter. On Friday,
Rosa ten Berg,
Adrianna Mier, and Anderson will compete in the 800-meter leaving the Owls with three more events (400-meter, 100-meter, and 3000-meter steeplecahse) on the evening. The finals will be held on Saturday, May 16.
