BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball (28-24, 12-12) concludes the regular season with a three-game series against East Carolina (30-21, 14-10), beginning Thursday at the FAU Baseball Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

SENIOR CELEBRATION
Prior to Friday's game, there will be a special presentation recognizing this year's 13 seniors: Cameron Horner, Dalton Robinson, Ian Collier, Zach Kilby, Marshall Lipsey, Patrick Ward, Nick Romano, Dylan Oborne, Tyler Murphy, Student Manager Chase Waters, and Director of Baseball Operations Emily Kramer. The presentation will begin at 5:45 p.m.

Friday is also $1 Hot Dog + $2 Beer Night (while supplies last).

OWLS IN REVIEW

The Owls have won their last 13 games played on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
They earned a split of the season series with a 9-3 victory over FGCU on Tuesday.
Kyzer Smith and Robinson combined to hold the Eagles scoreless for the first four innings.
Ward, Murphy, Reilly Witmer, and Bryan Boully covered the final five innings.
Witmer allowed one hit and one run in 1.1 innings. He also took an at-bat, drew a walk, and scored a run in the seventh inning.
Boully made his first appearance on the mound since April 14.
Offensively, Brando Leroux led the way with a 3-for-4 night at the plate, including two RBI and three runs scored.
Romano and Ward contributed two RBI each.

THE OPPONENT

East Carolina begins the weekend two games ahead of the Owls in the American Conference standings.
The Pirates avoided a sweep at the hands of Rice last weekend, winning the finale on Sunday 3-0.
That win snapped a four-game losing skid.
ECU has conference sweeps over USF and Charlotte.

OPPONENT HISTORY

Last season in Greenville, the Owls became the first road team to sweep East Carolina in conference play since Houston did it in 2018.
The Owls lead the all-time series 6-4.

WHAT'S NEXT
The American Conference Tournament kicks off next Wednesday, May 20, with two single-elimination play-in games. If the Owls secure a top-four seed, they will open the tournament on Thursday.
