Florida Atlantic Hosts Capri Classic for Senior Weekend

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 16-ranked Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team closes out its 2026 home slate this weekend, hosting its annual Capri Classic for senior weekend. Friday's matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Friday's ESPN+ broadcasts mark the first time Florida Atlantic beach volleyball will broadcast from home, as well as the first CUSA regular season matches broadcast through ESPN+.

This weekend's Capri Classic tournament field includes the Sandy Owls (13-11, 2-0 CUSA), along with No. 17 North Florida (12-12) Jacksonville (14-14), SFA (5-15), and FGCU (15-10).
The Owls will open play on Friday, against No. 17 North Florida at 12 p.m. FAU is 12-9 all-time against the Ospreys, winning six of the last eight meetings between the two teams, including a pair of wins this season on Feb. 28 and March 21. Florida Atlantic wraps up day one with a 4 p.m. first serve against Jacksonville. The Owls are 4-1 all-time against Jacksonville, winning the last four meetings between the Owls and the Dolphins.
FAU will open senior day on Saturday at 12 p.m. against Stephen F. Austin, marking the first-ever meeting between the Owls and the Lumberjacks. The Sandy Owls will cap off senior weekend with a 4 p.m. first serve against FGCU. FAU holds a 17-6 all-time lead over the Eagles, including a 4-1 victory earlier this season on Feb. 28.
UP NEXT
Following this weekend's Capri Classic, the Owls will close out regular season play in Seattle, Washington, competing in the Alki Beach Invitational, hosted by Washington, on Friday and Saturday, April 17-18.
