BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic freshman
Garrett Grant has already made an impact in his first season as an Owl. Grant immediately assumed a weekend role in the Owls' starting rotation, manning the Sunday slot from day one, where he's totaled 28 strikeouts and a 4.63 ERA through the first eight weeks of the season.
Grant came to Paradise with high expectations after a standout career at Spruce Creek HS in Port Orange, Florida. As a senior, he went 13-0 with a 0.93 ERA. He finished his high school career with a 21-1 record and a 0.83 ERA.
