3/19/2026 4:38:00 PM | Men's Tennis
BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team saw its match versus No. 68 East Tennessee State rescheduled due to weather. The delay from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning did no favors for the Owls, who fell by a score of 4-1.
THE BEGINNING
The duo of Vanja Hodzic / Lucca Pignaton played up a court on Thursday and made quick work of their ETSU foe with a 6-3 win. The Owls dropped the top court, needing a win on court to earn the doubles point. Extra tennis was needed to decide the winner, which was ultimately won by the Buccaneers, 7-6(8-6).
THE MIDDLE
Down 1-0, the Owls began the uphill comeback battle. Junior Simon Myslivec playing a court up, picked up a 7-5, 6-3 win to even the score at one all. The Owls would drop courts #4 and, also both playing up, in straight sets.
