BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming and diving teams are geared up for 2026 postseason competition, competing in the American and ASUN Conference Swimming & Diving Championships.
The men's team is set to travel north of the state, ready for their third ASUN Conference Championships from Wednesday, Feb. 18 to Saturday, Feb. 21. The meets will take place inside the Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center in Orlando, Florida.
As for the women, they will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina, ready for the American Conference Championships, held Wednesday, Feb. 18 through Saturday, Feb. 21, inside the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
REGULAR SEASON RECAP
Following a regular season that saw ten school records go down and three new freshman records, the Owls are looking to carry that momentum into the postseason. For the third consecutive season, the women's team won the midseason Patriot Invitational in November. For the men, they went undefeated at the FAU Aquatic Center this regular season, winning all four of the meets by an average margin of victory of 105 points.

2025 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Men
- The men's team had a very successful 2025 championship meet, finishing as runners up in the ASUN and improving upon their third-place finish from 2024. Overall, the Owls finished with 851 points, 283 more points than the 2024 championships.
- The Owls walked away with six gold medals, nine silver, and four bronzes for a total of 19 medals.
- Along with their second-place finish, FAU had an ASUN Male Most Outstanding Diver and Alik Sarkisian won tabbed as ASUN Men's Diving Coach of the Year.
Women
- The Owls wrapped up the 2025 American Conference Championship meet with 1008 points, with two medal winners and one new school record.
- Megan Drover-Smith grabbed herself a silver medal while setting a new school record with a time of 1:55.88 in the 200 back performance Her time also qualified her for an NCAA B-Cut.
ON DECK
Following the conclusion of the respective conference championships, the 2025-26 season will continue postseason competitions in the coming weeks. Owl divers who qualify, will compete at the NCAA Diving B Zone Championships taking place from Mar. 9 to Mar. 14. In Atlanta, Georgia. Select Owls will then compete in the National Invitational Championships, held in Ocala from Thursday, Mar. 12 – Saturday, Mar. 14. inside the FAST facility. The 2026 NCAA Championships are scheduled from Mar. 18 - 21 for the women and Mar. 25 – 28 for the men.
