BOCA RATON, Fla. – Senior pitcher
Autumn Courtney of the Florida Atlantic softball team is a nominee for the Amateur Athlete of the Year at the Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame Award ceremony, based on her 2025 resume.
Courtney, currently in her second season with the Owls, became the fifth All-American in program history and was the unanimous American Conference Pitcher of the Year and an All-Conference first team selection. Her marks of 172 strikeouts, 24 wins, and a 2.03 ERA were all top 30 nationally as she guided the Owls to their second consecutive American Conference regular season championship and the program's 11th NCAA Regionals appearance.

Trinity Schlotterbeck, another Florida Atlantic All-American, received the honor in 2025.
The Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame Awards are scheduled for Sunday, March 15. Keiser men's swimmer Isaiah Aleksenko and Lynn men's soccer player Dominik N'gaite are the other nominees for Amateur Athlete of the Year.
