BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's softball team will host Tulsa from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19 for its first home series in three weeks. Friday's first pitch is set for 6 p.m., followed by 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday, all on ESPN+.
The Owls (27-16, 8-10) are must-see on Joan Joyce Field at FAU Softball Stadium, where they hold a 17-2 record after starting a program-record 13-0 at home. FAU has had success against the Golden Hurricane (16-24, 7-11), clinching the last two American Conference regular season championships against them.
Friday will be "First Responders Night," with tickets available at $5 for first responders.

Back at home on Wednesday, the Owls won a non-conference midweek matchup against FIU by a score of 7-1. Senior third baseman

ABOUT THE OWLS
- Head Coach Jordan Clark is in her fourth season at the helm of the program and owns a 148-64 record. Clark and her assistants received the American Conference Coaching Staff of the Year recognition in both 2024 and '25.
- The Owls are averaging 8.3 runs per game in their last 22 victories while holding opponents to 1.7.
- As a team, FAU leads the American in runs (258), walks (156), strikeouts thrown (253), and opposing batting average (.239).
- Florida Atlantic ranks No. 15 nationwide in fielding percentage (.977).
- Senior pitcher Autumn Courtney became the program's fifth All-American in May of 2025 after winning the unanimous American Conference Pitcher of the Year honor. In 2026, she has earned two American Pitcher of the Week Awards and currently leads the team with 92 strikeouts and a 2.15 ERA while standing at the top of the conference with 14 victories. Courtney is No. 4 nationally among all active players with 74 career wins. In March, she was named the Palm Beach County Amateur Athlete of the Year.
- Redshirt junior outfielder Kylie Hammonds leads the team in hits (48) and runs (43). Her nine home runs are more than any FAU player had in 2025.
- Senior third baseman Jesiana Mora leads the Owls in batting average (.404), hits (46), RBI (32), while reaching base in 32 out of 37 starts. On Feb. 28 against Coastal Carolina, she tied FAU's single-game record in walks with four.
- In her last 13 games, junior outfielder Ciara Gibson is batting .439 with 11 runs, six homers and 15 RBI. She drove in at least one run 10 straight games during that stretch.
- Sophomore Lily Holtje has earned both an American Player of the Week and two Honorable Mention recognitions. She leads the Owls in walks (25) and is second in RBI (29).
- In 84 at-bats, sophomore outfielder Bella Foran has struck out just three times. She is batting .381, second on the team.
- Graduate pitcher Ainsley Lambert is No. 2 in the nation with six saves and is the career leader among all active Division I players with 28.
ABOUT THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
- Head Coach Chrissy Strimple is in her seventh season.
- Graduate infielder Claira Skaggs is top 10 in the conference in RBI (seventh, 34), home runs (ninth, nine), doubles (sixth, 11),
- In the circle, graduate pitcher Maura Moore has made a team-high 20 starts and owns an ERA of 4.21. She is No. 2 in the conference and 55th nationally in strikeouts (104).
- The Golden Hurricane leads the conference in doubles per game (1.55).
- Florida Atlantic hold the all-time series over Tulsa at 12-3.
