BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic football team concluded Wednesday's practice, under cloudy skies and the threat of rain, with high praise from Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley.
Kittley reminded the Owls throughout preseason and the first three weeks of the season that everything matters. He has stressed details and emphasized both throughout the bye week practices. On Wednesday, it was simple reminders: hydrate, take care of your body and then the list of praise for the attention given to each practice phase.
The Owls will hold their game week walkthrough on Thursday and will move into the weekend with Fast Friday followed by Saturday's 7 p.m. game at Flagler Credit Union Stadium versus Memphis. Thus far, the series has been limited to bowl game competition and stands at one game each. This is the American Conference opener for both teams and Owl fans are asked to wear red this week and help Florida Atlantic "Defend Paradise."
