BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to open the 2025-26 season at home in a dual meet versus Indian River on Friday, Sept. 19, beginning at 2:15 p.m. Live results can be found on MeetMobile.
Last year in the season opener against the Pioneers, the Owls women's team took the win against Indian River, while the men's team staged an impressive day.
LAST SEASON
The Owls are set to begin the new season after a strong 2024-25 season. In just their second season in the ASUN, the men's team finished as runners-up, earning six gold medals, nine silver, and four bronze for a total of 19 medals. During the regular season, six weekly awards were given to the Owls, spread amongst three different athletes. FAU also received the honors of ASUN Male Most Outstanding Diver and ASUN Diving Coach of the Year in Alik Sarkisian. The women's team participated in its third American Conference Championships, leaving with two medals and breaking four different school records and one freshman record. For the second straight season, the Owls took the first place finish out of seven teams in the Patriot Invitational with 1,936 points.
Sophia Clack won the inaugural American Conference Freshman Diver of the Week award. She won the award again later in the season as well as
Ludo Pavia winning the Owls' first American Conference Freshman Swimmer of the Week.
TEAM CAPTAINS
This season the Owls welcome a new slate of team captains. The 2025-26 captains are:

Taylor Eaton,
Ella Freeman,
Payne Smith, and
Aura Vilarrasa.
ON DECK
The Owls will have a short break before heading south to compete in the TYR Fall Classic at the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center hosted FIU.
