BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic's women's soccer team prepares to host two matches at home, opening up with Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday, Aug 28, at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Owls will host Lipscomb at noon to close out the month of August.
Thursday's matchup marks the first match the Owls (0-3-1) play at the FAU Soccer Stadium this season as they host the Eagles (1-1-0). The match against FGCU will air on FAUSports.com. Beforehand, fans are encouraged to support the No. 22 men's soccer team as they take on Jacksonville at 5:30 p.m., with an opportunity to win a copy of the EA Sports 2025 FC video game and a chance to upgrade it to the ultimate edition during the match against FGCU. On Sunday, FAU will host Lipscomb (2-0-1) for the second time in program history. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on FAUSports.com. All home games at the FAU Soccer Stadium are free admission.       Â

ABOUT THE OWLS

- Three Eagles (Kendal Gargiula, Lauren Dwyer, and Zschuppe) were named in the Preseason All-ASUN Team.
- In two games, Zschuppe has recorded three goals to become the leading scorer for the Eagles.Â

- Head Coach Kevin O'Brien enters his 14th season at the helm for Lipscomb.Â
