Duffy’s Fan Fest Set for Saturday Night at Flagler Credit Union Stadium

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Athletics, in collaboration with the Florida Atlantic Division of Student Affairs, has announced plans for the First Saturday in Paradise and Duffy's Sports Grill Fan Fest. The event, which is free and open to the public, is set for Saturday, August 16 at Flagler Credit Union Stadium beginning at 5 p.m.

The Saturday evening event includes activities outside the stadium in the Fan Zone, with stadium gates opening at 7 p.m., for events inside the stadium. The night is capped by a spectacular lighted drone show at approximately 8:45 p.m.

The Fan Zone area outside Gates 1 and 2 opens at 5 p.m., and will include a live DJ, carnival rides for all ages provided by the Division of Student Affairs, inflatables for the kids provided by Flagler Credit Union, giveaways, activations from sponsors and autograph sessions with Owl student-athletes.

Once inside the stadium, FAU's football student-athletes will be on the Hyundai Deck signing autographs. The program inside the stadium includes performances from the FAU Marching Band and cheer and dance, along with remarks from President Adam Hasner, Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White and Owl head coaches, among others. Concessions and merchandise sales will also be open both inside and outside the stadium.

Incoming FAU freshmen, which comprise the largest freshmen class in school history, are required to attend as an orientation event. Freshmen will be seated on the east side of the stadium, with the Hyundai Deck and west side seating open to the public, FAU staff and other FAU students.

Fans attending should note that Lot 5 will not be open due to the staging of the drone show. Parking Garage 3 is also closed to the public for renovation. Free parking will be available in Lot 4, Lot 6 and Lot 7.
