Hodzic to Join the Owl Tennis

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's men's tennis team has added experience with the addition of Vanja Hodzic, who is slated to transfer to Paradise this fall.

Hodzic, a junior, spent his first two collegiate seasons at Wichita State where he built a 29-24 record primarily playing on the top three courts, including a 19-16 dual match record. Hodzic will be the third junior, joining returners of Mark Havlicek and Simon Myslivec, who primarily played courts two and five, respectively, on a squad of no seniors. FAU is slated to return five rising sophomores who played pivotal roles in the Owls' 2024-25 success and will also welcome Bullion Sharp as an early freshman signee.

"I am extremely excited to welcome Vanja to our family," said Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU's Director of Tennis. "He is a great addition to our program and will bring valuable experience to the team. He is a perfect fit in our culture, and I can't wait to get to work."
