CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The
Florida Atlantic women's track & field team completed the first day of the 2025 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, hosted by Charlotte, on Thursday evening.
The Owls kicked off the 2025 AAC Outdoor Championships with the 1500-meter run. The 200-meter run followed, where junior
Camilla Nicholas represented FAU. Two Owls (
Jordan O'Brien and
Laura Kuhn) ran the 400-meter hurdles to close out the night for Florida Atlantic.
QUICK HITS
- Constance Pittet, Leah Helms, and Kayla Groppe represent Florida Atlantic in the 1500-meter run.
- Nicholas registered a 24.32 in the 200-meter run for a new personal best.
- Senior O'Brien ran in her last event as an Owl and clocked a 1:04.00 to end her career with a new personal best.
UPCOMING
The Owls will continue their journey at the 2025 AAC Outdoor Championships on day two. The first event of the night for FAU will be the 800-meter run at 6 p.m. on ESPN+
