No. 15 Sandy Owls Host Capri Classic for Senior Weekend

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 15 Florida Atlantic Sandy Owls wrap up their 2025 home schedule this weekend, hosting FGCU, South Florida, and UTEP for the Capri Classic at the Beach Burrow.
Florida Atlantic enters the weekend at 13-11 overall and 2-1 in CUSA play, while UTEP enters at 10-11 overall and 2-1 in CUSA play, and FGCU sits at 14-10 overall and 5-2 in ASUN play.
Florida Atlantic opens play this weekend on Friday, April 11 at 12 p.m. against CUSA foe UTEP. The Sandy Owls are a perfect 2-0 all-time against the Miners. Florida Atlantic will then close out day one with a 4 p.m. first serve against FGCU. FAU holds the all-time series lead against the Eagles, 16-4.
The Sandy Owls will kick off day two at 8:30 a.m. with an exhibition matchup against South Florida. Florida Atlantic will host its senior ceremony following its match against the Bulls. The Sandy Owls will then compete in either the Capri Classic consolation match or the Capri Classic Championship at 12:45 p.m. or 2 p.m., respectively, to close this weekend's play.
