BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's tennis senior
John Bernard broke into the ITA national rankings at No. 106, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Bernard is in his second season as an Owl and has played each of his 2025 dual matches on court #1. The Naples, Florida native holds a record of 10-9 overall and 3-4 in dual match play, while facing each opponent's top player. Since the new year, Bernard has wins over Army, Miami, Clemson and UCF.
As a junior in 2024, Bernard tallied a 17-5 overall record and was 14-3 in dual match play, where he primarily worked on courts five and six.
Bernard and the Owls will return to the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center courts on Thursday, Mar. 6 at 10 a.m. when FAU plays host to South Alabama.
