BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team will travel to North Carolina and down south to compete in two meets, starting with the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 28, before the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, March 29.
Owl distance runners will take on the meet hosted by N.C State on Friday afternoon, participating in the 1500-meter, 10000-meter, and the 3000-meter steeplechase. The sprint group will be in Coral Gables for the second consecutive weekend at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational hosted by Miami (Fla.).

- Promise Cross placed first in the high jump and tied the program record after 19 years with a 1.70m.
- The Owls had three runners compete in the 1500 meter (Kayla Groppe, Holly Arrison, and Grace Mueller).
- Freshman Kayla Hopkins finished in the top five of the 100-meter dash. Hopkins added her name to the program record book, now tied for No. 7. Hopkins also competed in the 200-meter dash, finishing in the top 10 with a 24.23. With that time, she puts herself at No. 9 in the record book.
- Constance Pittet placed second in the 800 meter-dash with a 2:15.67.
- Freshman Astrid Baunge finished second with a 7:04.98 in the 2000-meter steeplechase in her first outdoor meet of her collegiate career. Baunge is now ranked No. 2 in program history after today's performance.
- Sofia Molina, Richelle Williams, Jada Bolhuis, and Rosa ten Berg represented Florida Atlantic in the 4x400.
