Owls Extend Winning Streak to Four

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team picked up its fourth consecutive win and the second in as many days with a 5-2 victory over the visiting Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday.
The win moves FAU's record to 5-7 on the season while VCU falls to 5-8.
The Owls took control of the match by winning the doubles points with victories on courts one and three. FAU's Mark Havlicek pushed the score to 2-0 with a straight set 6-2, 6-2 win on court two. Friday's hero freshman Segundo Goity Zapico pulled the Owls within one of a clinch before sophomore Simon Myslivec secured the victory.
