Owls to Face Bulls in Last Regular Season Match

TAMPA, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic's women's soccer team will hit the road to face South Florida in the final regular season match on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
Thursday's matchup marks the 23rd time that the Owls (4-11-3, 1-6-2) and the Bulls (7-8-2, 3-4-2) have met. Kickoff for the match is set for 7 p.m. to close out the 2025 regular season.

- Head Coach Patrick Baker is in his 13th season at the helm of the Owls. Baker is one of the top 40 winningest active Division I women's soccer head coaches.

- Defender Daniella Diaz, midfielder Morgan McDonald, and forward Michelle Horan were named the Owls' three players to watch by the American.
- FAU has 12 newcomers on the roster in 2025.
- Graduate student Sloane Young leads the team in goals with seven.
- Horan leads the Owls with seven assists on the year to improve her career total to 14. She is No. 51 in the nation and second in the American.
- Hailey Santiago has five goals on the year and leads the Owls with 32 shots.
- Young has been named American Honorable Mention twice this season (September 1 and September 29).
- In conference play, Madison Micioni leads with three goals thus far.
- Chris Brown is in his second year at the helm for South Florida.
- The Bulls lost to UAB 3-2 on Sunday, Oct. 26, in their last road match of the season.
- USF has two leading goal scorers with five goals each.
- The Bulls are ranked No. 8 in the American standings.
- South Florida holds a 4-1-2 record at home.
- The series record against the Bulls is 9-9-4.
- These two teams have played against each other since Sept. 7, 1996.
- Last time the Owls faced the Bulls, the match resulted in a tie in Boca Raton.
