Owls Finish the Regular Season at Ed Holloway Classic

LAKELAND, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic men's and women's cross country teams completed the regular season at the Ed Holloway Classic on Friday evening, hosted by Florida Southern.
The men ran an 8k to start the night, and the women followed with running a 6k to close out the evening.Â
Representing Florida Atlantic on the men's side, senior Samuel Henery was the first Owl to cross the finish line with a 26:59 (18th overall). On the women's side, freshman Morgan Pennington was the first one to cross the line for FAU, finishing 12th overall. She recorded a 23:31 on the night.Â

- Anderson finished within the top 20, coming in at 16th with a time of 23:52.
- Senior Paul Glick was the next Owl to cross the finish line with a 27:11.
- The third runner for FAU was Donovan Petty, with a 27:22 (5:30 minutes per mile).
- Finishing within the top 30 was Noah Highsmith in his third race with Florida Atlantic. He finished with a 27:39 for his fastest time in a FAU uniform.Â
- Nate Webb and Nazayer Franco also ran for the Owls, finishing 33rd and 34th on the evening.
