MEET PHILLIP DUNNAM

Growing up with my mother being a single mom, I have always looked up to her strength and perseverance. I started my collegiate career at Indiana and, after a coaching change, decided it was best to transfer back near my hometown of Miami. I have two younger sisters, so by coming home, I was also able to build strong relationships with them. They look up to me as their older brother.
Faith is a big part of my life. I believe God gave me the talent to do what I love, and I should never take that for granted. I follow Philippians 4:13 daily: “I can do all things with Christ who strengthens me.” This means I can do anything I put my mind to, no matter how difficult. This, as well as admiring my mother’s constant strength, keeps me going in life, shapes the man I am today, and helps me in football.
My name is Phillip Dunnam, and I am a junior safety at Florida Atlantic University.
