TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic softball team fell to the University of South Florida on Friday evening by a score of 1-0.

The Owls move to 36-13 overall and 16-6 in conference play after playing the Bulls in game one of the three-game series. Seniors Trinity Schlotterbeck, Katelynn de Leon, Cally Kildow, Presley Leebrick, Zoey Jones, Kamryn Jackson, Becca Jones, Holley Peluso, Megan Moll, Cammeo Presutti, and Gabby Baylog were recognized by USF during a pre-game ceremony.

THE GAME

Schlotterbeck started in the circle for the Owls, registering her 19th of the season. In the second inning, Jackson singled to right field for the first hit of the game. In the bottom of the second, the Bulls scored the game's lone run on a single to left field.
