TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic softball team fell to the University of South Florida on Friday evening by a score of 1-0.
The Owls move to 36-13 overall and 16-6 in conference play after playing the Bulls in game one of the three-game series. Seniors

Gabby Baylog were recognized by USF during a pre-game ceremony.
Schlotterbeck started in the circle for the Owls, registering her 19th of the season. In the second inning, Jackson singled to right field for the first hit of the game. In the bottom of the second, the Bulls scored the game's lone run on a single to left field.

The Owls will take on the Bulls in game two on Saturday evening. First pitch is set for 5 p.m EST and will air on ESPN+.
