DENTON, Texas. – The Florida Atlantic softball team (33-11, 13-5 AAC) fell to North Texas in the final game of the series on Sunday afternoon by a score of 4-1.

After game three of the series, the Owls move to 33-11, 13-5 AAC. Sophomore Jaden Martinez started in the pitching circle for the Owls, recording her ninth of the season.

THE GAME

The Owls held the Mean Green to no runs through the third inning. In the fourth inning, North Texas scored to take the lead. From a three-run homer, North Texas extended their lead. Designated player Trinity Schlotterbeck hit her ninth home run of the season to put the Owls on the board.
