IRVING, Texas – Florida Atlantic's men's and women's basketball teams participated in the annual American Athletic Conference Media Day, occurring Sunday and Monday, October 13-14, at the Westin Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas.

KyKy Tandy, discussed expectations for the upcoming 2024-25 season that tips off with an exhibition on Oct. 26 before the regular season opener on Nov. 4 against Indiana State.
The Owls are entering their second year in the AAC and were one of two teams in the conference to earn a bid in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The AAC Preseason Coaches' Poll AAC preseason poll placed the team at number five out of 13, while Tandy was named All-Conference Second Team.

Mya Perry, attended video and photo sessions, in addition to meeting with media to discuss their upcoming 2024-25 season.
The Owls host Fort Lauderdale for an exhibition matchup on Oct. 29 before officially kicking off the 2024-25 season on Nov. 4 at Florida.
Florida Atlantic enters its second year in the AAC and fourth under coach Sullivan. The Owls return five and add eight newcomers to the 2024-25 squad, including three experienced transfers and five true freshmen.
