Owls to Host Senior Day

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming & diving teams will host St. Thomas' swim team and Indian River's diving team on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m.

It will also be Senior Day for the Owls. Fans and family are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes early for a ceremony honoring the team's 14 seniors for their contributions over the years.

Graduating Seniors

The following seniors will be recognized:

Last Time Out

As a whole team, the Owls last competed in official competition at the midseason Patriot Invitational. It was a sweep for both the men's and women's side, competing against sixteen teams in total. Seven school records were set over the course of the weekend.

Four Owls: Lillibridge, Nick Shaffer, Logan Thornsberry, and Riley Trout competed in the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville, Tennessee from Jan. 10-13. There were three total qualifications for the 'C' final: Lillibridge in the 100 breast 'C' final (1:03.27) and Shaffer in the 200 IM (2:09.90) as well as 400 IM (4:36.93).

On Deck

Florida Atlantic will host one final home meet, an outing against FIU's women's swimming and diving team on Saturday, Jan. 27 beginning at 10 a.m.
