RICHMOND, Va. – Florida Atlantic men's golf finished eighth (-18) at the VCU Shootout on Tuesday. Max Sturdza (-11) tied for fifth individually, his second top five in as many starts so far this fall.

Tuesday's shotgun start saw Sturdza begin his day on the par-four seventh. The senior ran into trouble with a seven at the 17th hole but recovered to birdie five of his last seven holes and finish at -11 for the tournament
